Quigley is fascinated by and a little jealous of "big" sister. I had to watch closely when she is near. He had decided that he might try to bite her. (This was pre-Scout) Update: Since we adopted Scout, Q. has stopped being so jealous and has stopped the attempted biting behavior. Yeah! It also helps that we are all reminding him to respect our space. Cuddles from a colt seem cute, but we have to treat/teach him as if he already weighs 1000 lbs. This approach is working better for all. It is good that we are all learning how to be close together and safe. I think Q. needed his own horse buddy to do horse things with...and humans don't and shouldn't fit the bill for some of that kind of play.
