Taking a little break from all the preparations necessary to establish a safe horse pasture. This is the first time I've bought a place that didn't already have a horse set-up ready to go. Boy, do I appreciate the amount of work it takes now! So, we're clearing out old fencing that poses entanglement threats, wiring up electricity, re-establishing an old well, putting in water lines, building a horse shelter, and cleaning up the pasture of old hidden sharp objects and metal. Whew! And we have an October deadline. Once it is done and ready to go, it should be good for years of safe enjoyment with upkeep.
